Our organization was formed in 1992, by the County of Wayne under the Michigan Municipal Health Facilities Corporation Act, as a way to create a quality public coverage option for the people of Detroit and surrounding areas. 

Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with mental illness.  During May, HealthChoice and the rest of the country are raising awareness of mental health.
